Job Summary
Welcome to newest Barbershop opening in the Northside of Chicago. I have over 7 years experience working with Barbershops upgrade their image, now I am opening up a Barbershop of my own. I am looking to hire a licensed Barber/Manager that will have the lucrative opportunities to manage the shop, cut at their own barber station & be able teach future barber apprentices.
Responsibilities
Perform & educate haircuts, shaves, and beard trims using various techniques including straight razor methods.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Utilize the Booksy app for appointment scheduling and client management.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Manage inventory levels of products used in services and retail sales.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques to offer clients modern options.
Experience
Licensed Barber manager or similar role in the beauty industry is preferred.
Familiarity with extensive barber techniques and retail sales is a plus.
Experience in store management or customer service will be beneficial for maintaining client relationships.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction are essential
