We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services using barbering techniques.
Utilize straight razors for precise haircuts and shaves, ensuring client safety and satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized service.
Sanitate tools and work areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Apply knowledge of color theory to offer hair coloring services that complement clients’ features.
Provide nail care services as needed, demonstrating attention to detail and skill.
Engage in upselling products and services that enhance the client’s grooming experience.
Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
Experience
Proven experience in barbering or cosmetology is preferred, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in managing product sales effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure clear understanding of client needs.
Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to the beauty industry is essential.
Experience with nail care is a plus but not mandatory.
