The Salon & Spa at The Cambridge is a boutique Salon & Spa located inside a luxury Retirement Community. We are looking to hire a Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist to provide full hair services and basic manicures and pedicures to our residents and outside clients. The Salon & Spa is conveniently located inside the Cambridge Fitness Center at The Cambridge at Brier Creek.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides services to the clients in the salon in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Maintains a Salon that meets the requirements of the NC state Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners.
Able to provide basic manicure and pedicure services.
Ensures services are delivered in a safe and professional manner.
Enters all transactions into the POS system and maintains accurate accounting records.
Maintains a clean and professional salon space.
Entry Qualifications
Valid NC Cosmetic Arts License
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with personal computer including Microsoft Word & POS Software
This position is TEMPORARY but could turn PERMENENT. Full-time and part-time available. Salon is open Monday-Friday and weekends by appointment.
