Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Licensed Cosmetologist/Esthetician Instructor to join our prestigious school. As an instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future estheticians by providing comprehensive education and training. Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons on various esthetician topics, including skincare, facials, makeup application, hair removal, and body treatments.
– Follow the curriculum materials, lesson plans, and educational resources to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations.
– Provide hands-on demonstrations, practical training, and supervise students during practical sessions.
– Assess student performance through practical exams, written tests, and evaluations to track their progress and identify areas for improvement.
– Offer personalized guidance and support to students, addressing their individual needs and concerns.
– Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and products to incorporate them into the curriculum and provide students with relevant knowledge.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting professionalism, ethics, and adherence to safety protocols.
– Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to the growth and success of the school.
Requirements:
– Must hold a valid esthetician license and have a minimum of two years of practical experience in the field.
– Must hold a valid cosmetology or esthetician instructor license.
– Prior experience as an esthetician instructor or in a teaching role is highly preferred but willing to train given the right person with dedication and positive work ethic.
– In-depth knowledge of esthetician practices, skin care products, beauty treatments, and industry regulations.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
– Strong organizational and time management skills to create engaging lesson plans and meet educational objectives.
– Passion for teaching and mentoring students, with a commitment to their professional and personal growth.
– Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
– Flexibility to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
-Flexibility for schedule in teaching day time, evenings and Saturday classes.
-Ability to teach via virtual methods.
