Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for hair styling, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, providing makeup application services, and offering hair extensions to enhance our clients’ looks. Your role will also involve mentoring junior stylists and contributing to store management efforts.
Duties
Provide professional hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Apply hair extensions with precision and care to achieve desired styles.
Offer makeup application services for special events or everyday looks.
Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to client needs and providing expert recommendations.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their hair care routines and product recommendations.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precise cuts when appropriate.
Participate in store management tasks, including inventory management and maintaining a clean work environment.
Booth Rent will be set at 100 dollars a week
Engage in upselling products and services that enhance the client experience.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling with a portfolio showcasing your work.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience with hair extensions and makeup application is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to mentor others and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Familiarity with straight razor techniques is a plus.
A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on the latest trends.
