Job Description – Hair Stylist
Sweet & Sassy:
Sweet & Sassy is a children’s salon, spa and retail store for girls 3-12. Customers enjoy top-quality services including haircuts, up-do’s, mini-manicures, mini-pedicures, and ear piercing.
Over the last 15+ years we have made a name for ourselves as THE place for girls and tweens to have fun. Salon Stylist
Summary Responsible for all customer service activities related to salon services, including making Snip-Snap Station and Pampered Place clean/fun environments for our customers and stylists.
The Stylist will provide outstanding customer service in accordance with company standards, and ensure all assistance is provided quickly and proficiently to safeguard company integrity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Salon Stylist
Coordinates with management and salon staff to assist with sales and introduction of products and services.
Coordinates with salon staff to implement sales processes specific to the products and services offered by the salon.
Keeps management informed about issues with processes/procedures and customer service opportunities.
Identifies, coordinates, and implements necessary tools for providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
Ensures that each customer receives outstanding service in a timely manner and in a friendly environment.
Maintains solid knowledge of all products and services offered by the salon.
Opens/Closes salon operations on an as needed basis.
May be responsible for Stocking/processing inventory items daily to maintain salon product areas.
Complies with established company policies and standards as related to customer service issues.
Communicates customer requests to management and any other salon personnel associated with the request(s).
Attends training for all stylist as needed to maintain salon standards and expectations.
Maintains clean, organized, and neat work environment always. This includes, but is not limited to sweeping floors throughout business day, straightening/stocking merchandise as needed daily, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.85 – $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
