Licensed Cosmetologist/Hair Stylist Jobs in North Kingstown, RI at The Nail Bar North
Responsibilities:
– Provide a wide range of beauty services to clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring.
– Perform consultations with clients to determine their desired look and provide recommendations based on their individual needs.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and techniques to ensure high-quality service delivery.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment.
– Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and handling client inquiries.
– Actively engage in retail sales by recommending and selling beauty products to clients.
– Upsell additional services and treatments to enhance the client’s experience.
– Provide mentoring and guidance to junior cosmetologists to help them develop their skills.
Experience:
– Must have a valid cosmetology license.
– Proven experience in providing a wide range of beauty services
– Strong knowledge of retail math principles to effectively manage sales transactions and inventory.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner.
– Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
