We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the salon.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including cuts, colors, styling, and treatments based on client preferences and current trends.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend and apply appropriate hair color techniques.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized consultations.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and managing appointments.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with the best possible service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales is advantageous.
Experience with eyelash extensions is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in store management or leadership roles within a salon setting is beneficial.
