Duties
– Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
– Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
– Assist in retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided.
– Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for hair coloring treatments.
– Demonstrate barbering skills as needed for clients requesting short hairstyles or grooming services.
Skills
– Proficiency in hair styling techniques and trends.
– Strong understanding of hair extensions application methods.
– Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
– Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients.
– Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment management.
– Ability to apply color theory effectively in hair treatments.
– Experience in retail math to assist with product sales and inventory management.
– Skills in women and mens cuts including skin fades.
