Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Licensed Cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality beauty services, including hair cutting, coloring, styling, and skincare. You should be knowledgeable about the latest beauty trends, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be committed to helping clients look and feel their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Hair Services: Perform haircuts, coloring, highlighting, blowouts, perms, and treatments according to client preferences and current styles.
Skincare Services: Provide facials, waxing, and other skin treatments tailored to client needs.
Client Consultation: Consult with clients to determine their beauty needs, provide expert advice on products and styles, and create personalized care plans.
Product Sales: Recommend and sell professional beauty products to enhance clients’ at-home care.
Sanitation and Safety: Maintain cleanliness of the salon and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Client Relationships: Build lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends, new techniques, and product innovations through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
Valid Cosmetology License in the state of Alabama.
Proven experience as a cosmetologist, hair stylist, or in a related role(recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and skincare.
Knowledge of beauty products and their applications.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients simultaneously.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends .
