Duties
Provide professional makeup application services for various occasions, including weddings, events, and photoshoots.
Consult with clients to determine their preferences and desired looks, offering expert advice on makeup styles and products.
Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized and ready for use.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Mentor junior artists or interns, sharing knowledge of techniques and best practices in makeup application.
Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided, utilizing upselling techniques effectively.
Manage inventory of makeup supplies and report any shortages or product needs to management.
Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Skills
Proficient in makeup application techniques with a strong foundation in cosmetology.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Experience in retail sales with the ability to upsell products confidently.
Strong organizational skills for managing appointments and maintaining a clean workspace.
Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative environment among team members.
Knowledge of store management practices is a plus.
Familiarity with barbering techniques can be beneficial but is not required.
