Overview
We are seeking a barber or cosmetologist to join our team. You will be 1098 and pay booth rent. Depending on your clientele, we can be flexible on booth rent. At its most, it will be $125 a week. among other things, a Sink, Chair, Towels, Professional Cleaning, and some clients will be provided to you. You may also bring your own chair, floor mat, etc. and create your own station to your liking.
We have switched owners in the past two years and are going through some updates and renovations, as the shop is due for some new floors and other cosmetic upgrades.
Responsibilities aside from your barbering business:
Sanitize tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering tailored recommendations.
Keep your own station swept, dusted, and cleaned.
Utilize salon phone for appointment scheduling & client management. All stylists are responsible for answering the salon phone and taking appointments for eachother.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
Proficiency in various hair cutting techniques, including the use of straight razors.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
Familiarity with retail math to assist clients with product purchases effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Knowledge of salon software systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
