Our menu has expanded to include the latest advancements in skincare including LED Skin Phototherapy, NuFACE microcurrent, dermal infusion as well as microdermabrasion and chemical peels. Our Estheticians love the opportunity to build a treatment plan for their clients that may incorporate one or more of these progressive treatment options. Professionals can build repeat business with our membership model. Our estheticians are a critical link to creating an outstanding customer experience.
Your expertise in skincare and product knowledge will make you an important part of our team. We book your appointments and provide all supplies so you can focus on the client. Education is a huge focus and is offered on an ongoing basis through Education on Demand platforms.
Hand & Stone – Lead Esthetician (Lead EST) Role Overview
The Lead Esthetician is a hybrid position combining hands-on service work with team leadership responsibilities. This role serves as the primary support for the esthetics department, helping drive performance, maintain service standards, and train team members.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor estheticians on service protocols, product knowledge, and sales performance
- Coach team on key metrics including memberships, upgrades, retail, and rebooking
- Monitor individual and team performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure consistent, high-quality client experience and service standards
- Assist in resolving client concerns and maintaining brand reputation
- Manage back bar inventory and treatment room standards
- Support implementation of corporate protocols and new services
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and hands-on training of new estheticians
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of skincare treatments and products
- Leadership, coaching, or training experience preferred
- Strong communication and team-building skills
Compensation Structure
- Hourly base pay (slightly higher than standard esthetician rate)
Role Summary
The Lead Esthetician acts as a working leader within the spa, balancing client services with team development and operational support. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow into management while continuing to perform services.
Schedule
Friday and Saturdays 4-6 Hour Shifts
Sunday flexible 2-3 Hours (Not all Sundays will get booked)
Weekdays 3-7
