Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for our clients.
Duties
Perform various barbering services including haircuts, shaves, hair threading, and styling.
Utilize straight razors and other tools with precision to achieve desired styles.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell additional services such as hair extensions or specialty treatments to enhance client experiences.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing salon software.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.
Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
Qualifications
Valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of work.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
Ability to perform hair threading techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
Experience in upselling services or products is advantageous.
A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on current trends in grooming.
