The Live Commerce Host is responsible for engaging audiences during live selling sessions, showcasing products in a dynamic and persuasive manner, and driving sales through interactive livestreams. This role also contributes to content creation, event preparation, and collaboration with the marketing and livestream teams to deliver compelling live commerce experiences.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
Livestream Hosting & Engagement
- Host live selling sessions with energy, confidence, and charisma.
- Present products in a clear, persuasive, and relatable way to encourage sales conversions.
- Interact with viewers in real time by answering questions, responding to comments, and building audience connection.
- Highlight product features, benefits, promotions, and bundles during broadcasts.
- Support co-hosts during live sessions, assisting with product handling, swatches/try-ons, and smooth on camera transitions.
Content Preparation & Delivery
- Prepare scripts, product notes, and talking points prior to livestreams.
- Assist in creating short-form content (videos, captions, promotional materials) when not hosting live.
- Adapt on the spot during livestreams to maintain flow and adjust to audience feedback.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Coordinate with the marketing and livestream operations teams to plan content and promotional strategies.
- Share feedback and insights on trending or highly requested products based on audience interactions.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve live commerce strategies and audience engagement.
YOUR TALENT
- Comfortable and confident on camera, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Engaging, personable, and able to connect naturally with online audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage real-time audience interactions.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and adaptability during fast-paced live selling sessions.
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to present products persuasively and influence purchase decisions.
- Organized and proactive in preparing scripts, product knowledge, and livestream materials.
- Creative, resourceful, and capable of improvising on camera.
- Team-oriented, willing to support fellow hosts both on and off camera.
- Preferred: Prior experience in beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or retail brands
