- Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on Luxury Apparel Operations Associate to support the daily operations of our growing women’s fashion brand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and has a strong appreciation for luxury garments and presentation. Only candidates with the required sewing qualifications will be considered. This is an on – site, Monday – Friday position. There is no option for remote work.
The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and comfortable balancing garment handling, warehouse organization, shipping support, quality control, and operational tasks. Experience working with high-end apparel, garment care, or fashion fulfillment is strongly preferred.
- Key Responsibilities:
· Garment Preparation & Quality Control:
o Sew and attach garment labels with precision and consistency, both by hand and with a sewing machine
o Steam, inspect, and prepare luxury apparel for shipment or restocking
o Conduct quality control checks on incoming and returned merchandise
o Identify and report garment defects, damages, or inconsistencies
o Maintain presentation standards for all products and packaging
· Fulfillment & Shipping:
o Accurately pack and prepare customer orders for shipment
o Assist with daily shipping, receiving, and inventory movement
o Ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently and according to company standards
o Support returns processing, restocking, and inventory reconciliation
o Assist with shipping documentation and order organization as needed
· Warehouse & Operations Support:
o Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse / studio environment
o Organize inventory, supplies, garment racks, and packaging materials
o Support operational workflows and warehouse efficiency initiatives
o Assist with general warehouse tasks and team projects as needed
o Uphold luxury-level operational and presentation standards throughout the workspace
- Qualifications & Experience:
· Required Qualifications:
o Previous experience in fashion, apparel, retail operations, warehouse, or fulfillment environments
o Familiarity with sewing, garment steaming, quality control, and apparel handling
o Advanced sewing skills and ability to sew labels onto garments neatly and accurately, both by hand and with a sewing machine
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
o Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities
o Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
o Ability to lift and move merchandise, boxes, and supplies as needed
· Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience working with luxury or contemporary women’s apparel
o Experience with shipping platforms, Shopify, or inventory systems
o Understanding of luxury packaging and presentation standards
o Prior warehouse or fashion studio experience
- “Day in the Life”:
A typical day includes sewing labels onto new inventory, steaming and preparing garments for shipment, organizing warehouse and stock areas, packing customer orders, inspecting returned merchandise for quality, restocking inventory, and assisting with shipping and operational support tasks. This role works closely with the operations and fulfillment team to ensure all products are handled with care and meet the brand’s quality and presentation standards.

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
