Position Summary
This is an in-person job in our retail boutique in Mandarin, Jacksonville.

The Luxury Buyer & Authentication Specialist is responsible for conducting buying and consignment appointments, assisting with luxury item authentication in collaboration with our Senior Buyer, and ensuring inventory is accurately processed from intake through listing.
This role combines client service, inventory management, and operational support. While the primary focus is buying and intake, you’ll also assist with retail sales and collaborate with other departments to support the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Luxury Buying & Client Experience
- Conduct in-store buying and consignment appointments.
- Assist walk-in clients interested in selling luxury handbags and accessories.
- Evaluate designer items for authenticity, condition, and resale potential in collaboration with the Senior Buyer.
- Build strong relationships with clients while providing a professional and welcoming buying experience.
- Assist clients with consignments, order drop-offs, and order pickups.
- Maintain buying appointments and ensure walk-in clients are assisted promptly.
Inventory & Operations
- Assist with inventory management by accurately entering customer and product information.
- Maintain organized inventory records and documentation.
- Coordinate the intake process to ensure inventory moves efficiently through authentication, pricing, photography, and online listing.
- Communicate regularly with the Senior Buyer regarding inventory, authentication, and purchasing decisions.
- Help maintain an efficient workflow from acquisition through listing.
Store Support
- Assist customers on the retail sales floor and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
- Support merchandising, inventory organization, and day-to-day store operations.
- Collaborate with in-person and remote team members across departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
Cross-Functional Support
As a growing business, our team works collaboratively across departments to achieve shared goals. In addition to your core responsibilities, you may occasionally assist with:
- Live selling events and online sales initiatives.
- Inventory reporting and operational tracking.
- Reports and analytics.
- Administrative tasks related to inventory, client records, and daily operations.
- Special projects and process improvements that support business growth.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Experience in luxury resale, designer retail, consignment, authentication, or a related field.
- Knowledge of luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, Dior, Prada, Saint Laurent, Celine, Fendi, Goyard, and similar designers.
- Experience evaluating luxury handbags and accessories is highly preferred.
