Job Description / Responsibility
- Oversees the fabric or material cutting department in manufacturing. Ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely cutting of components.
- Plan, monitor, and execute cutting schedules based on production orders and shipment deadlines.
- Optimize marker planning to improve marker efficiency and reduce fabric waste.
- Ensure cut components meet design specifications, conducting regular inspections to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise cutting room staff, manage cutting machine maintenance, and oversee processes like fabric relaxation and spreading.
- Collaborate with CAD, merchandising, planning, and sewing departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate line feeding.
- Maintain accurate records of fabric consumption and waste.
Educational Requirements
- A Level
- Minimum “A” Level or equivalent.
