The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager will be an integral part of the finance and accounting team and report to the Head of FP&A. The FP&A Manager will assist with the preparation of internal/external financial reports, Board of Directors materials, monthly financial analysis materials, and provide ad hoc analysis for the organization.

What You’ll Do

Financial Planning & Analysis

Execute company-wide annual budget, rolling monthly forecasts, and long-range planning

Coordinate and manage demand planning forecast process; provide support with detailed drivers/assumptions rooted in data/analytics

Build models to better understand customer lifetime value and respective costs of acquisition with full appreciation of all related metrics (AOV, retention, order frequency, etc. by customer cohort/segments)

Collaborate across all departments to develop financial budgets/plans and KPI metrics to evaluate, track and manage financial performance and spend

Analyze financial results, understand key trends, assess current and future business risks and opportunities, communicate insights and actions

Financial Reporting

Draft board deliverables, corporate presentations, and investor materials that encompass business reviews, financial updates, and operational and strategic initiatives

Prepare departmental variance reports, investigating and communicating results against expectations

Oversee preparation of various weekly, and monthly reporting (KPI, cash flow) to provide visibility and ensure alignment into operational/financial goals

Strategy and Business Decision Support

Identify and evaluate actionable revenue-generating and cost savings opportunities across the business

Extract, manipulate and analyze financial and other data to deliver insights and recommendations; comfort building impactful dashboards from BI tools

Partner with business operations, and other key stakeholders to build reporting and analysis

Skills and Character Traits

Superior analytical skills and problem-solving skills; adept at using logic and reasoning to work through problems and analyze information

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven success collaborating with various teams across the organization
