Purpose & Overall Relevance For The OrganisationThis role is responsible for maximizing the profitability and optimizing the store network of the Market Franchise business by:
Defining the Franchise strategy for the Market, in line with the Market targets and priorities
Driving profitable market share growth of the Market Franchise business
Selecting Franchise Partners and creating collaborative business relationships with them
Reviewing & driving Franchise store productivity and KPI development, and implementation of excellent standards in the stores
Developing the Franchise store network with existing and new Franchise Partners
Managing and monitoring the Franchise business regarding performance and compliance with company standards, aiming at continuously optimizing the business in collaboration with the Franchise partners
Collaborating with other functions on Market level and with Global teams
Identifying, sharing and exchanging best practices with other Markets and Global team to enhance the adidas Group mono-branded shopping experience for customers
Key Responsibilities
Act as the key responsible contact for Franchise business in the Market, representing the Franchise business model internally and externally
Track, analyze and report the Market Franchise business development on a regular basis, including Franchise P&L, sell-in, store performance (operational KPIs), store profitability, Franchise partner profitability
Define and communicate the Franchise strategy for the Markets, including (but not limited to) store rollout plan, Franchise partner strategy, financial targets, operational KPI targets, operational execution, priorities, etc.
Recruit and select new Franchise partners for the adidas Group Franchise business in the Market
Establish and maintain a collaborative business relationship with the Franchise partners and Franchise store managers
Supervise the management of the store portfolio in the Market, including opening/closing and partner management strategy
Manage the opening process for new stores, by approving new store locations, providing official sign-off for new stores, and monitoring the operational processes related to the store opening (store development, layout planning, marketing, etc.), etc.
Supervise and support the seasonal sell-in process with the Franchise partners
Host and moderate key meetings with Franchise partners, store managers, etc. (e.g. seasonal Franchise conference with all partners)
Manage relationships with business partners and vendors (e.g. cashdesk system/traffic counter system provider)
Drive cross-functional alignment with Own Retail, Marketing, and other departments to ensure excellent execution of the Franchise stores
Provide and demonstrate expertise in key forums (e.g. local Franchise trade shows, Head of Franchise Meetings)
Participate in Global initiatives by supporting the implementation of new global tools and standards in the Market
Participate in and drive special projects in the Market and with Global to optimize the Franchise business model
