BISHOPS Cuts/Color Billings is looking for an upbeat, talented Manager in Training. Our shop is fun and fast-paced; we play good music and provide our customers with top-notch cutting and coloring services. We value a positive and healthy work environment and a drug-free workplace. Here’s what a typical day would include:
· Creating an environment capable of amazing experiences for clients by managing the daily operations of the location, maintaining a spotless and safe place for everyone while driving sales and services.
· Develop a team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing training and mentorship, reviewing performance, and providing constant feedback to empower your team to improve and grow.
· Auditing the details from inventory and deposits to ensure compliance with all labor and employment laws applicable to location employees (including any local and state licensing laws for stylists).
· Creating an epic workplace culture where your team feels valued, great work is recognized, issues are resolved quickly and fairly, and everyone feels connected to the mission.
Other Responsibilities include:
· Skilled in cutting and color techniques; able to take clients as needed.
· Solid social media presence on multiple platforms
· Excellent verbal communications
· Strong team player
· Demonstrating top-tier customer service to clients and teaching staff how to grow professionally.
What it Takes to Succeed
· Experienced and comfortable working in a fast-paced salon environment
· High energy and proven ability to work with diverse people and work groups.
· Self-starter with high standards of personal performance and integrity.
· Ability to lead like a boss, organized and attentive to details.
· 6 months – 2 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist.
· Must possess a current cosmetology license.
