Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
A 100% export-oriented leading woven garments manufacturing company is looking for a dynamic professional to join our merchandising team. The role involves working closely with USA-based buyers and global fashion brands, ensuring world-class product execution, smooth communication, and flawless execution from order to shipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and international buyers (especially USA-based clients), ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of all requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end merchandising process including order follow-up, production planning, and shipment scheduling.
- Ensure product quality, pricing, and delivery strictly meet buyer expectations and global standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Monitor market trends, fashion directions, and competitor activities to support product development aligned with buyer demand.
- Handle costing and price negotiations with a focus on profitability and competitiveness.
- Coordinate closely with design and production teams to ensure accurate execution of buyer requirements.
- Prepare reports, analysis, and presentations for internal management and buyer review meetings.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to development, production, and shipment.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Skills Required: woven, Garments Merchandising, USA market, Woven Merchandiser
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments,Group of Companies
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of merchandising experience, including strong exposure to international buyers (preferably USA markets)
- Must be confident in handling buyer meetings locally and abroad with professionalism and strong communication skills
- Smart, well-mannered, and strong in personal grooming and presentation
- Strong understanding of garment production processes and quality control standards
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams effectively
- Proficiency in relevant merchandising, reporting, and project management tools
