Objective
The Manager of Strategy Development and Enablgement plays a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and enabling execution across functions. This position partners closely with senior leadership to design strategic workstreams, evaluate partnership opportunities, support strategic planning cycles, and ensure organizational alignment. The role requires structured thinking, strong collaboration, and the ability to convert strategic ideas into actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Workstream Design and Leadership
- Lead development of strategic workstreams that support growth, commercial priorities, and long term capability building.
- Build structured strategic frameworks, business cases, and scenario assessments.
- Translate broad strategic objectives into clear roadmaps with phased execution steps and measurable outcomes.
- Support annual and quarterly planning by providing insights and synthesizing functional inputs.
Strategy Enablement and Cross Functional Alignment
- Coordinate inputs across operations, marketing, finance, technology, and customer teams.
- Maintain workstream visibility, clarify ownership, and ensure consistent communication.
- Establish structured rhythms for updates, leadership reviews, and decision checkpoints.
- Identify execution risks and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve gaps that may affect progress.
Strategic Partnership Evaluation
- Identify potential partners across channels, technology, enablement services, and broader ecosystem opportunities.
- Develop structured assessments on partner fit, value creation potential, and risk considerations.
- Prepare internal recommendation materials and support strategic partner discussions.
Insight Generation and Decision Support
- Synthesize trends, competitor actions, customer insights, and commercial signals into concise recommendations.
- Provide scenario comparisons, qualitative and quantitative analyses, and clear strategic options.
- Develop strategic templates, models, and frameworks that raise decision making quality.
- Provide analytical support to help align functional plans with strategic direction.
Portfolio Prioritization
- Support leadership in prioritizing initiatives using a consistent evaluation method.
- Assess strategic value, resource requirements, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain a dynamic overview of the strategic initiative portfolio.
Strategic KPI and Performance Tracking
- Work with Finance and Business Planning to define strategic KPIs for major initiatives.
- Develop visibility tools to track performance against strategic goals.
- Provide structured strategic updates and early indicators for course correction.
Competitive Intelligence and Industry Scanning
- Monitor competitor activity, category developments, and emerging trends.
- Produce insight summaries to inform ongoing strategic shaping.
- Highlight early signals that may require deeper investigation.
Leadership and Team Development
- Mentor and guide the Analyst supporting this function.
- Review deliverables to ensure clarity, accuracy, and strong strategic logic.
- Promote structured thinking and high analytical standards across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred in fields such as Business, Strategy, Economics, Finance, Analytics, or related disciplines
- Additional training or certifications in strategy, analytics, or project leadership is an advantage
- 6 to 8 years of total work experience
- Experience in strategy, consulting, business planning, corporate development, or program leadership in dynamic or high growth environments
- Strong cross functional coordination exposure
- Experience evaluating partnership models or supporting strategic decision making
- Experience guiding or coaching junior team members preferred
- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem solving
- Clear and concise communication with ability to influence at all levels
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership and consistent follow through
- Comfortable working in fast changing environments with evolving priorities
