Role Description The Mandarin Translator at PT.FONDFASHION SEAMLESS GARMENT will provide accurate, context-appropriate translation between Mandarin and Indonesian for daily factory operations, meetings, and written documentation. This full-time, on-site role in Batang,supporting communication between local teams and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, and assisting with interpretation during trainings and negotiations. The translator will review and refine existing documents for clarity and consistency, maintain terminology glossaries, and help ensure that instructions, policies, and quality standards are clearly understood across all parties. The role also involves collaborating with HR and management to support onboarding, internal communication, and cross-cultural understanding in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) and fluent communication in Indonesian.
- Excellent listening, comprehension, and note-taking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in conveying meaning and tone across languages.
- Ability to work on-site in Batang on a full-time schedule, collaborating effectively with diverse teams and adapting to a fast-paced factory setting.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple translation requests and meeting deadlines.
- Comfort with basic office software (e.g., word processing and spreadsheet tools) and digital communication platforms used for documentation and reporting.
- Diplomatic communication style and cultural awareness, with the ability to bridge differences and support clear, respectful interaction between all stakeholders.
