Responsibilities
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure services according to salon standards.
- Clean, shape, trim and polish fingernails and toenails.
- Apply nail polish, gel polish, nail treatments and basic nail art as requested.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by sterilizing tools and sanitizing workstations before and after each client.
- Assess clients’ nail and skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
- Ensure clients are comfortable and provide excellent customer service throughout the appointment.
- Maintain adequate stock of nail care products and inform management when supplies need replenishing.
- Keep the work area clean, organized and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest nail care techniques, trends and products.
- Build positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Follow salon policies, appointment schedules and grooming standards.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to provide a high-quality salon experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Manicure & Pedicure Technician.
- Knowledge of nail care techniques, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Relevant beauty therapy or nail technician certification is an advantage.
