QI COLLECTIVE is seeking a Part-Time Marketing Assistant to join our team in Downtown Los Angeles. This role begins at 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time position in the near future. We welcome applications from recent graduates as well as current students.

Salary: $17-$20 an hour

ABOUT YOU

As a Marketing Assistant/Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our marketing efforts, from social media operations to PR assistance. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, passionate and eager to learn about fashion and marketing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Marketing Assistant/Intern you must have a passion for social media, interest in public relations and the emerging fashion digital landscape. You thrive in a fast paced, ever-evolving, entrepreneurial environment, and feel at your best when taking a list of tasks and running off with it independently and efficiently. You’ll play a key role in building and engaging our online community and supporting our PR initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Social Media & Content Support

Schedule content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest.

Monitor social media channels frequently and respond to comments and messages, and actively engage with followers to foster relationships and build community.

Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains innovative and relevant

Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns

Partner with cross functional teams to support brand initiatives and product launches.

Support content creation efforts such as content conceptualization research, video editing, graphic creation, filming on location, etc…

Digital Marketing & Campaign Support

Provide operational support for various marketing initiatives, including ad hoc tasks to assist the team in campaign execution

Collect behind-the-scenes content during key fittings, photoshoots, events, and campaigns.

Assist in market & trend research tasks, etc.

Public Relations Support

Daily media monitoring

Sample management

Tracking gifting progress and results

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The candidate must be based in LA and can commit to working in the office 3 days per week and on request

Passion and vision driving Content & Community on social media.

Thorough technical understanding of the primary social platforms in the space (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest).

Capacity to handle a variety of competing tasks and assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

An eye for content and the ability to capture beautiful behind-the-scenes photos & videos at photoshoots and fittings.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Passion for fashion and understanding of digital trends.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong initiative and independence, with the ability to manage tasks proactively and meet deadlines independently.

Openness to working some nights and weekends, as social media is always on and our team works across many timezones.
