Overview

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing initiatives and projects across all channels. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with members of the marketing department, including commercial, integrated, digital, creative, and events, as well as external partners, to ensure consistency, timeliness, and alignment of marketing efforts.

The focus of the role will shift throughout the year based on the marketing calendar, with periods of concentrated support for creative production, events, campaigns, and other departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of photo and video productions, including pre-production preparation, on-set assistance, and post-production organization.
  • Assist with production materials, including model and casting boards, look and outfit boards, shot lists, production decks, and sample trackers.
  • Organize and prepare apparel and product samples for creative productions, including pulling and labeling looks, tracking samples, steaming garments, dressing racks, and packing materials.
  • Provide hands-on support during shoots and respond to evolving production needs.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns, presentations, launches, events, and special projects across the department.
  • Participate in project and planning meetings, capture key decisions and action items, and help translate next steps into completed work.
  • Coordinate project details, timelines, materials, and deliverables in partnership with marketing team members, cross-functional stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Support marketing events from planning through execution, including sourcing and procurement, vendor coordination, product preparation, packing, shipping, and on-site support.
  • Coordinate the ordering, tracking, organization, preparation, and distribution of product samples, apparel, event materials, and other marketing assets.
  • Support influencer product sampling and gifting, including coordinating product selections, placing and tracking orders, maintaining shipping information, and organizing program materials.
  • Assist with social media community management, including monitoring channels, responding to or routing inquiries, and identifying relevant conversations and opportunities.
  • Support the coordination and distribution of marketing communications by gathering information, organizing assets, and helping ensure materials are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
  • Experience supporting projects, events, communications, or creative production within a fashion, apparel, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brand environment is preferred.
  • Experience with event production, influencer gifting, sample management, vendor coordination, sourcing, shipping, or procurement is preferred.
  • Experience supporting social media community management or influencer marketing programs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple assignments and consistently follow through on commitments.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable learning new processes, tools, and areas of the business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to capture discussions and document decisions and action items clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, adapt to evolving needs, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Willingness and ability to provide hands-on support, including preparing, packing, lifting, carrying, and organizing apparel, samples, production materials, and event supplies.
  • Ability to occasionally support productions, events, or other business needs outside of standard working hours.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana, Slack, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar tools.
  • Strong visual sensibility and an interest in fashion, branding, social media, and culture.
  • Basic familiarity with Canva, Figma, or other creative collaboration tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

WHAT’S our offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $26.25 – $36.38 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

B+C Office: Bella + Canvas’ office is located in Montebello, CA in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. This role is onsite Monday through Friday, and our standard working hours are 9:00-6:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds.
