Advanced Window Fashions / Advanced Design Center
Locations: Mt. Pleasant, Summerville & 278 Meeting Street, Charleston
Part-time, 15–25 hours/week | $16–$18/hour | Flexible around class schedule, includes Saturdays.
About us
Advanced Window Fashions is a leading custom window treatment company in the Charleston area with showrooms in Mt. Pleasant and Summerville plus a trade-only Advanced Design Center at 278 Meeting Street. We specialize in Hunter Douglas, high-end drapery, shutters, and complete design solutions for both homeowners and the trade.
What you’ll do
- Plan, promote, and help execute events and open houses at all three locations (especially trade events at 278 Meeting).
- Call on and visit local design firms, architects, builders, realtors, and related businesses to invite them to events and introduce the Advanced Design Center.
- Create and post social media content (photos, short videos, Reels, stories) featuring completed projects, product benefits, showroom life, and events.
- Support print materials, website updates, and basic email/marketing outreach.
- Help document installs and customer stories for ongoing content.
- Assist with light administrative and showroom support as needed.
Ideal candidate
- Current college student (Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Interior Design, Business, or related major preferred).
- Comfortable on camera and on the phone.
- Reliable, outgoing, and organized.
- Strong writing and basic photo/video skills (phone is fine).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (you’ll be visiting businesses and moving between locations).
- Available 15–25 hours per week during the semester (or full-time in summer).
