Role Description
This part time hybrid (unpaid) internship in Portland, OR, offers an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Intern to support the team in executing marketing campaigns and strategies. Responsibilities include conducting market research, assisting with sales campaigns, supporting marketing events, engaging with customers for feedback, and ensuring a positive customer service experience. You will also have the chance to contribute creative ideas to marketing initiatives and gain hands-on experience in the fashion and technology industries.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively connect with clients, customers, and team members.
- Experience with Market Research and Marketing Strategy to identify trends, gather insights, and support promotional campaigns.
- Interest or experience in Sales to assist in business development activities.
- Enthusiasm to learn, creativity, and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in digital tools and social media is a plus.
- Familiarity with or passion for the fashion and technology industries is an advantage.
This role offers direct involvement in campaign development, content strategy, and cross-functional marketing execution. Interns will work closely with the marketing team and directly under the marketing manager to support ongoing initiatives while gaining visibility into how large-scale events are planned and promoted.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Support campaign strategy, execution, and performance tracking
- Contribute to content ideation, scripting, and storytelling development
- Assist in managing internal content workflows and team alignment
- Support email marketing efforts, including e-blast creation and ideation
- Participate in influencer outreach and communication
- Contribute to brand messaging and copy development
- Assist in CRM development, including exposure to automation and AI tools
- Provide production support during photoshoots, activations, and event days
- Support social media management and platform growth initiatives
Additional Exposure:
- Collaboration with external media and advertising partners, including Outfront Media and iHeartMedia
- Integration of print, digital, and experiential marketing campaigns
- Analytics and reporting across social media, email, paid media, and web platforms
