Marketing manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing an integrated strategic marketing plans for the brands. You are responsible for brand management, strategic leadership, team collaboration, and functional excellence. This role will address consumer demand, drive brand strength and improve expectations of brand connection with consumers.
Responsibilities:
Plan, formulate and implement all marketing activities for both MY & SG (offline and online).
Manage and optimize the monthly and yearly marketing budget to maximize impact and efficiency.
Lead all campaigns, integrating paid, owned, and offline communication strategies through collaboration with E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, CRM, and the Wholesale Team.
Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistency in brand identity, messaging, and visual guidelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key consumer groups, brand partners, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
Support the development of strategic marketing plans, briefs, concepts and creative implementation for yearly, seasonally, monthly and as necessary.
Gather and analyse sell-thru data to ensure company competitiveness in marketplace
Identify and develop new marketing partnerships to expand brand reach and business opportunities.
Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
Deliver timely post-mortem and monthly marketing reports.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
Preferably industry: Retail or FMCG.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
Highly creative and full of ideas, with passion for excellence.
Possess critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Able to manage relationship and diversity, possess strong communication and presentation skills.
Deep knowledge of the industry, competition and trends in the marketplace.
Deep connection and understanding of the consumer, global trends and cultural insights.
Experience of working cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
Strong leadership skills and able to work independently as well as in a team and with positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure consistency of customer messaging across all marketing channels.
