Role Description The Marketing & Operations Assistant is a contract, remote role supporting both the day-to-day operational workflow and marketing initiatives at Ready to Where. This role will assist with scheduling and coordinating client appointments, maintaining databases and internal tracking systems, and supporting basic operational processes that keep client engagements running smoothly. The assistant will help execute marketing activities such as updating social media content calendars, preparing email campaigns, gathering content from stylists, and tracking engagement metrics. Daily responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, routing questions to the appropriate team members, organizing digital files and documents, and supporting reporting on key operational and marketing performance indicators. The role may also involve basic research on market trends, tools, and competitors, as well as support for special projects that improve client experience and internal efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Strong operations and operations management skills to support scheduling, workflow coordination, and process improvement.
  • Analytical skills to track metrics, maintain accurate records, and interpret basic marketing and operations data.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients, stylists, and internal team members.
  • Comfort working in digital environments, including online scheduling tools, CRM or client databases, and social media platforms.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently with guidance from marketing and operations leads.
  • Previous experience in fashion, retail, personal services, or a client-facing role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work across time zones, with reliable internet access and a suitable remote work setup.
