As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for clients.
Duties
Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients.
Consult with clients to understand their desired hairstyles and offer expert advice.
Utilize various techniques including hair threading and color theory to achieve desired results.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Manage appointments using salon software such as MINDBODY to ensure efficient scheduling.
Assist in store management tasks including inventory control and product recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and nail care to provide clients with contemporary options.
Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
Requirements
Valid barbering license or certification from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including but not limited to cutting, coloring, and threading.
Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to sanitation standards.
Experience in makeup application and nail care is a plus but not required.
A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously improve skills through professional development.
