Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in hair styling while also contributing to a positive salon environment.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and techniques
Utilize salon software Vagaro for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon area.
Assist in retail sales by promoting hair care products that align with client needs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow within the salon.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including knowledge of hair extensions and color theory.
Experience with salon software systems is preferred; familiarity with Vagaro is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Basic understanding of retail math for product sales management.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Previous experience in store management or leadership roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
