Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering and hair styling, with the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for every customer.
Duties
Perform haircuts and styles using various techniques, including straight razor shaving and hair extensions.
Provide consultations to clients regarding their desired looks and recommend appropriate services.
Apply color treatments while demonstrating knowledge of color theory.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Engage in upselling of products and services to enhance the client experience.
Contribute to store management by helping maintain inventory levels and assisting with retail math as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in straight razor techniques and various hair styling methods.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Knowledge of color theory and application techniques for hair coloring services.
Experience with hair extensions is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to engage in upselling strategies to promote products and services effectively.
Strong organizational skills for managing appointments and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Previous experience in store management or front desk operations is a plus.
