We are looking for a motivated medical aesthetician to join a new growing Physician-led Medical Aesthetics Clinic in St. Catharines/Niagara. The successful candidate would be responsible for conducting skincare assessments and consultations for existing and new clients, performing all aesthetics services, such as chemical peels (using Alumier
MD products), various medical facials, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, extractions, cryotherapy, and microneedling, as well as assisting with various radio frequency and laser treatments. Must be willing to be trained on certain radio frequency treatments and perform those treatments once trained. Also responsible for promoting and selling skincare products, as well as other medical aesthetics treatments, packages and memberships. Responsibilities would also include learning how to use the clinic’s Electronic Medical Records System and documenting all treatments and assessments/consultations in the clients’ charts.
Skills We Are Looking For Would Include
Proficiency in advanced skincare treatments such as
Chemical peels
Microneedling
Microdermabrasion
Dermaplaning
Cryotherapy
Extractions,
Knowledge of skin anatomy, conditions, and appropriate treatment options
Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
Sales and promotion
Strong attention to detail and precision in performing treatments
Ability to follow strict safety and sanitation protocols
Up-to-date understanding of new aesthetic technologies and products
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team under supervision
Basic office computer skills
Ability to create and post promotional material on social media
Duties Would Include
Performing advanced skincare treatments and recommending customized skincare plans
Assisting with patient consultations and treatment assessments
Maintaining a sterile and clean work environment
Educating patients on post-treatment care and skin health management
Documenting treatments and patient progress accurately
Promoting a professional, compassionate, and ethical approach at all times
May be required to check patients out after services and process payments and invoices
May be asked to assist with other treatments performed by the nurses or physician
The successful candidate must also be willing to engage in continuing
education
and attend any relevant training sessions arranged.
Remuneration:
Base hourly rate + tiered commissions to be discussed; free or at-cost treatments
