Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Colorist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color theory and a keen eye for detail, ensuring clients receive exceptional hair coloring services. As a Colorist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ beauty while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Perform hair coloring services, including highlights, lowlights, and color corrections, tailored to each client’s needs.
Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide expert advice on color choices.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair color techniques and products to offer innovative solutions.
Mentor junior stylists and assist with their professional development in color application techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon area.
Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and greeting clients.
Upsell additional services and products to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive salon environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Colorist or in a similar role within the cosmetology industry.
Strong knowledge of color theory and application techniques.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Familiarity with nail care, makeup application, or barbering is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A valid cosmetology license is required.
Previous experience in store management or mentoring is desirable but not mandatory.
