Job DescriptionMerchandise Coordinators provide support to Product Line Managers by creating item setups in an internal order management ERP system (FMS) and PLM (Product Life Management) application. Products are merchandised on our Fanatics ecommerce website and via wholesale to the retail marketplace. This position works closely with Merchandising, Art, Licensing, Brand Management, and Customer Service Teams to ensure the validity of all items created or inactivated. Ideal candidates will have: A strong desire to understand product creation, as well as a desire to grow within this career path or other Supply chain departments. A passion for sport and growing a global business. Also, a curiosity to understand consumers to spark thought and vision for the future of the industry.
Key Accountabilities
Product Creation: Creates product ids in collaboration with Merchandise, Product Development and the Art department for the product/merchandise that will be sold to customers via wholesale retail and ecommerce platforms
Item structure: Style, color, graphic assignment Royalties Coding: Applies appropriate attribution for system function, decoration cost, royalty attributes and life cycle management
Data Integrity: Conducts audits to ensure item descriptions, inventory, sku/item counts, manufacturing, purchasing and licensing/royalties attributes
Product BOMs: Creates and loads Bill of Materials (BOMs) for internal manufacturing and embellishment processes
Product Lifecycle: Supports Product Lifecycle process to include but not limited to managing system marketing data, provides reporting for line plan review, publication, item aging review and life cycle status changes
Logo and item change: Drive the item change process, provides items for review, product demand, WIP, factory purchase orders and inventory data extracts
B2B item management: Assign collateral attribution, customer segmentation attributes, auditing, and product release or removal
Required Skills/Abilities/Education
2-year Associates degree a plus 1 or more years of data management experience
Strong computer skills; intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
Must be detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of quality, keep accurate records
Highly organized and self-motivated
Excellent analytical skills and detailed oriented
Demonstrates ability to take initiative, identify and prioritize opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be flexible with the ability to adjust to changing priorities
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in multiple systems
Able to work independently as well as with a team
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
