The Opportunity

The Merchandise Coordinator will function as a point of support for the company’s timepieces division. The position’s primary focus will be in merchandising, including showroom management, and merchandising support within a retail store environment, specifically in department stores. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and highly organized professional with accessories or timepieces background.

Responsibilities

Provide execution and support of merchandising plans for the division

Showroom management and coordination of samples

Main point of contact with clients to coordinate samples, photos and displays

Merchandising support in full price department stores

Will work cross-functionally with various company division to plan accordingly

Travel necessary throughout the United States to visit various full price locations with a primary focus on department stores and occasional focus on independent jewelers and casinos when needed.

Support division with various administrative tasks

Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements

2-4 years of merchandising experience (accessories or timepieces preferred)

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in excel (sumifs, vlookups, etc)

Highly organized individual with ability to prioritize

Experience working with large department store environments

Understanding of the luxury market necessary

Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time

Strong communication skills with the ability and confidence to conduct training presentations for individuals and groups

Enjoys people and has a gift for building strong relationships

Extreme sense of urgency is a must

Proficient in Microsoft Suite
