Position Overview:

TheMerchandise Coordinatorwill be responsible for ensuring a superior customer shopping experience through online merchandising, and seasonal changes, leveraged by website analytics and merchandise buying plans. The primary responsibility will be the setup and maintenance of the online catalogue. The position will be accountable for ensuring timely and accurate production of content and related merchandising.

Responsibilities:

Working with cross functional teams for onboarding and approving new online products, including image and content curation.

Maintaining and updating supporting product information online as new information surfaces.

Partnering with merchandising and marketing to identify and enhance key product buy listings on the websites. Ensure key items have top tier media assets, descriptions and navigation visibility.

Create curated collection and trend pages with help from marketing and buying teams.

Conducting site maintenance daily including price change and promotion validation.

Participate in the testing of all site content in coordination with weekly site refreshes, functionality and marketing initiatives.

Working with cross functional team to build and execute promotional, content and marketing calendar.

Identify opportunities to improve online navigation and presentation based on analytics (click path, traffic, conversion etc.).

Identify and recommend new site content and experiences to address customer needs.

Monitoring the competition’s online strategies in conjunction with performance of categories that drive our online business.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Post-Secondary Education in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Understanding of retail eCommerce landscape

Familiarity with content management tools and site analytics tools (e.g., Omniture or Google Analytics) and with content management tools

Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail and analytically oriented person who takes pride in in delivering high quality work.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products primarily Excel and Word and Windows operating systems.
