Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative intern to support our eCommerce and visual merchandising efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about online retail, visual presentation, and event marketing. You will gain hands-on experience managing a Shopify store, optimizing product listings, supporting visual merchandising, and assisting in event execution.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify eCommerce Management
Add new products, including uploading model and product photos, writing descriptions, and updating specifications.
Create collections for new launches and update outdated tags.
Ensure product types and categories are accurate.
Assist in creating and maintaining a Markdown schedule, tracking product life cycles, and recommending markdown timing.
Shopify Point of Sale Management
Configure the Shopify POS system, including setting up collection lists and optimizing home screen tiles.
Create price lists for events and confirm pricing accuracy across platforms.
Manage and update the POS staff list, ensuring permissions are set appropriately.
Visual Merchandising & Events
Develop mock-ups to enhance the shopping experience and appeal to our target demographic.
Prepare shopping lists to optimize product displays at each location.
Assist in event planning, including setting up merchandise displays, selling products, and conducting consumer engagement surveys.
Support outreach for event staffing, ensuring adequate coverage and assisting with scheduling.
Qualifications
Passion for eCommerce, retail, and event marketing.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of Shopify and POS systems (a plus but not required).
Willingness to attend and assist at events.
