Join a dynamic team of planners dedicated to sales planning, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the Nike Marketplace Partner (NMP) business. As Senior Assortment Planner, you will collaborate across a wide network of teams, including Merchandising, Finance, Sports & Business planning, and S&IM.

You'll serve as the NMP partner lead in multiple forums, coordinating and consolidating key deliverables for the NMP team.

What are you going to do?

We are looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner to lead seasonal planning and drive product strategy across franchises, sports categories, and marketplaces. This role plays a key part in optimizing sales, inventory, and product availability while supporting business growth and consumer demand.

  • Develop and manage seasonal assortment plans based on sales, receipts, and inventory targets
  • Build strategies to achieve financial goals and support Sports Offense priorities
  • Own product-driven Open-to-Buy (OTB) forecasts to guide manufacturing decisions
  • Analyze weekly/monthly performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and implement action plans
  • Monitor key product franchises and drive cross-marketplace decisions to optimize demand and product health
  • Support pricing and trading decisions through data-driven insights
  • Manage end-to-end inventory health across categories and marketplaces
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to align on assortment and sell-in strategies
  • Communicate plans and performance insights to leadership stakeholders
  • Lead and deliver projects independently, managing priorities effectively

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in assortment or retail planning, with a solid understanding of financial, product, and inventory planning
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, with the ability to leverage statistical forecasting, data science, and new ways of working to build fact-based plans
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess product potential, identify gaps to financial targets, and translate data into insights
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders through clear, compelling, and data-driven storytelling
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
