About This Opportunity ….
A wholesale apparel client is looking for a Merchandise Planner to join their team to onboard and manage planning for new retail accounts.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Forecast sales performance and inventory reports, work with replenishment counterpart to maximize.
Onboard new retailers to the business and work with them closely.
Review and adjust seasonal ladder plans.
Advise on business strategy and growth/risk opportunities using historical trend data.
Create assortment and production plans per store by style, color and size.
Leverage data visualization software and present to leadership.
Qualifications:
3+ years apparel Merchandise Planning experience
Experience with a variety of big box or department store retailers, including onboarding new retailers.
Ability to partner/communicate with cross-functional teams (replenishment, production, etc)
Highly proficient in Excel and data visualization tools like PowerBi, Tableau, etc.
Retail Link, Simparel, Adobe Illustrator, SQL knowledge is a plus
Strong retail math skills
Ability to present reports to senior leadership, strong communication skills
4-year college degree (required)
