Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Merchandiser at Doteks Agency located in Istanbul Seyrantepe.
Merchandiser will be responsible for day-to day communication between customers and factories, sourcing of new fabrics and developements.
Determine and develop customer requirements towards manufacturers taking care of a smooth and efficient workflow between customers and production factories. Ensure efficient usability of time.
Qualifications
- Fluently English and Turkish spoken
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 7 years experience as merchandiser at a textile agency
- Knowladge of different kinds of fabrics.
- Experience of working with European customers and ability to translate their demands to the production department at Doteks office and production factories in Turkey.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
