Our client, a luxury loungewear, intimates and sleepwear brand, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to join their growing team. The Merchandiser will play a pivotal role in managing the product assortment, planning, and execution of their collections. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of market trends, and a passion for fashion + sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute seasonal merchandise plans, ensuring a balanced and cohesive product assortment.
Work closely with the design, production, and sales teams to ensure products meet the highest standards and align with brand vision.
Collaborate with the design team to select and refine styles, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer preferences.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive activities, and consumer behavior.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to optimize sales and minimize excess inventory.
Track and analyze sales performance by category, style, and SKU to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, inventory status, and market trends for senior management.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field preferred
5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
