Purpose:

The Merchandising Admin Assistant is responsible for all things relating to Collection and Retail Merchandising for Manolo Blahnik. Contributing as an active member of the Merchandising team to work within a commercially focussed culture.

Collection Merchandising Responsibilities:

Assist in developing the collections in line with the critical path under the guidance of the Collection Merchandiser

Carry out regular and detailed analysis to support future collection planning and lessons learnt.

Follow the critical path ensuring that key deadlines are met.

Work with the Collection Merchandiser to prepare trend reports, capturing key trends and themes relevant to the business.

Carry out Competitor analysis.

Conduct regular SWOT analysis.

Support the Collection Merchandiser with creating engaging training materials that are fit for purpose for use by our Wholesale, Retail and Ecommerce teams – transmitting depth of product knowledge acquired throughout the development process.

Support in market preparation.

Retail Merchandising Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the merchandising team by actively analysing sales trends, monitoring deliveries and maintaining stock levels.

Prepare weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports.

Analysing and reviewing the performance of collections, by story, style, function, etc

Provide support in conducting price analysis.

Liaising with Production, logistics and D2C teams on a weekly basis to ensure deliveries are on time and effectively communicate changes to Retail, Ecom and merchandising teams.

Provide data and support for end of season markdown.

Aid with the sample sale set up.

Create and maintain “available” stock lists for departments to utilise.

Any other tasks as requested.

Skills and Experience Required:

Commercial support and development experience, ideally within a luxury brand.

Intellect: Excellent analytical, report-writing skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills with a strong, solution-based mindset. Ability to prioritise tasks, and ensure delivery of results within tight deadlines.

Communication: Strong and effective presentation skills and ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels.

Proficient in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.

Pace: Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment by being flexible and adaptable.

Excellence: High level of finesse and excellence required in delivery of all tasks.
