Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating design instructions into actionable tasks for our sampling team. You will act as a vital link between the design vision and physical production, ensuring that "running instructions" are communicated accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret design briefs and technical instructions.
- Communicate design specifications clearly to the sampling department.
- Monitor the progress of samples to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any production or design discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working with a leather bag manufacturer is required (experience with an export house is strongly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other relevant industry software.
