Responsibilities:
– Assist the Merchandiser in creating seasonal line plans for the EU market, with a focus on Filson and Spiewak products;
– Update and synchronize the master line plan between Filson’s global plan and the EU market on a weekly basis;
– Generate monthly commercial calendars to serve as the foundation for E-commerce and wholesale go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with global commercial calendars and local product availability;
– Serve as a liaison between the merchandising department at Filson US, buying office, sales department, product development, and sourcing teams;
– Manage communication channels between Filson US and WP Lavori in Italy;
– Prepare monthly and seasonal sales documents, including collection previews, sales tools, GTM documents and sales meeting materials;
– Develop seasonal go-to-market documents highlighting key items, floor sets, and collection drops;
– Collaborate with merchandiser, finance, buying office, and sourcing teams to prepare seasonal price lists;
– Assist in preparing collections for visual merchandising sessions, showroom presentations, and sales meetings;
– Attend seasonal fittings with design, product development, and merchandising teams, and create detailed reports;
– Conduct seasonal analysis of the competitive landscape to inform merchandising strategies;
– Create seasonal briefings to pass on to the design team, ensuring alignment with merchandising objectives.
Requirements:
– Minimum English proficiency level: C1;
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the retail or fashion industry;
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
– Knowledge of merchandising principles and trends in the fashion industry;
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary;
– Willingness to work on US time zone when required.
