Merchandising Executive Jobs in Singapore, Singapore at Lenskart.com

Title: Merchandising Executive

Company: Lenskart.com

Location: Singapore, Singapore

At Lenskart, we believe that clear vision is fundamental to the personal development and well-being of an individual, and our aim is to build tech-enabled solutions that improve access to affordable and quality ‘Eyewear for All’. We commenced our operations in India as an online business in 2010 and opened our first retail store in New Delhi in 2013. Since then, we have scaled through both the online and offline channels and have established a presence through our retail stores, websites, mobile applications, and other channels.

The Role

We're looking for a Merchandising Executive to join our SEA & ME buying team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll be the engine behind our product launches — making sure new collections move smoothly from order close to in-store, on time, every time. You'll work closely with senior buyers, supply chain, vendors, retail, marketing, and training teams across Singapore, Thailand, UAE, and KSA.

If you love product, thrive on structure and follow-through, and want to build a strong foundation in regional buying, read on.

What You'll Do

Daily — Launch & Pipeline Tracking

  • Track the status of upcoming launches against the merchandising Gantt chart
  • Monitor open collections that haven't closed yet — identify what's pending, who to chase (supply chain, vendors, marketing, content), and drive items to closure.
  • Flag risks and delays early so launch dates stay on track.

Weekly — Reporting & Ops Cadence

  • Pull and circulate weekly sales reports by market, category, and collection; highlight best-sellers, slow-movers, and stock risks.
  • Maintain the assortment master — keep SKU information, product attributes, sales data, and launch status up to date and accurate.
  • Follow up on GRN / stock-in progress; help prioritize inbound based on inventory levels and sales velocity across the markets.
  • Maintain the launch calendar — ensure collections lands on its scheduled date across markets.
  • Update launch kits and training decks so retail and front-line teams have the right product story, visuals, and key talking points at every launch.

Occasionally — Buying & Market Work

  • Support the closing of new orders with supply chain and vendors.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis — store visits, online scans, competitor benchmarking — to inform future buys and identify regional demand patterns.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, planning, category management, or buying ops — eyewear, fashion, accessories, beauty, or specialty retail preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, large data sets — this is non-negotiable for the role.
  • Familiarity with retail math (sell-through, stock cover, margin, ASP) and exposure to ERP / merchandise systems is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and follow-through obsessed — you instinctively chase loose ends and don't let things slip.
  • Strong communicator, proactive chaser, and calm under launch-day pressure.
  • Genuine interest in product, fashion, and eyewear trends.
  • English fluency required.

Why Join Us

  • Own the execution layer of a fast-growing, multi-market business.
  • Get unusually broad exposure across four very different markets early in your career.
  • Learn buying end-to-end — from order close to launch to post-launch performance.
  • A culture that values speed, ownership, and ideas over hierarchy.
