Job Purpose:
The Merchandising Intern plays a vital role in supporting the merchandising team in various tasks related to product planning, assortment selection, inventory management, and sales analysis. This position aims to provide hands-on experience in the retail industry, offering insights into merchandising strategies and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supports merchant team in assorting process set-up by creating, printing, and boarding submission
Create seasonal top/bottom sellers boards
Manages post-assortment file request process
Contributes to file audit and sampling process
Maintains merchandise data and comp research
Assists with the online merchandising of the relevant categories including filters, SKU organization and ranking, and optimizing the overall “shoppability” of assortments
Remains flexible as team priorities shift
Builds positive relationships with cross functional partners
