This role will be a part-time contract with expected commitment to fall between 20-25hr/week. There may be times based on demand and business needs for additional hours.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Breakaway is seeking a dynamic and results-drivenMerchandise Managerto lead the development, management, and growth of the brand’s entire merchandising process, with a particular emphasis onbrand collaborations, e-commerceandonline merchandise sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end merchandising strategy, from product development and branding to managing online sales platforms likeShopify, driving digital revenue, and ensuring a seamless virtual shopping experience for customers. This role will collaborate closely with marketing, design, and logistics teams to create and execute a strategic merchandise plan that maximizes revenue both before and during the festival season.
The Merchandise Manager will play a critical role in transforming Breakaway’s merchandise into a recognized and sought-after brand, creating high-quality, on-trend products, and ensuring a seamless sales experience both online and on-site. If you are creative, data-driven, and operational, with a strong understanding of merchandising, sales optimization, and branding within live events who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the power of digital sales channels, we want you on our team.

Brand Development & Merchandise Strategy
Develop and execute a long-term vision to positionBreakaway’s merchandise as a lifestyle brand, extending beyond just festival souvenirs to appeal to a broad online audience.
Collaborate with designers, artists, and vendors to create exclusive, high-quality merchandise (apparel, accessories, and collectibles) that resonates with festival-goers and online customers alike.
