Are you a hands-on merchandising professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving products from concept to delivery?
We are partnering with a growing apparel business to identify a Merchandising Manager who can lead the end-to-end merchandising process and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful product execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full merchandising cycle from product development, sourcing, costing, sampling, order follow-up through to bulk production and delivery
- Partner with customers, suppliers, and factories to ensure on-time execution and quality standards
- Drive product development activities and provide commercial recommendations on sourcing strategies, costing, and vendor selection
- Monitor production progress, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve issues
- Work cross-functionally with design, product development, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners
Requirements
- Proven experience in apparel merchandising with solid end-to-end exposure from development to production
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of sourcing, costing, production management, and supply chain operations
- Experience serving the US market is highly preferred, while candidates with exposure to European markets are also welcome
- Background from a sourcing office, buying office, or apparel brand is advantageous
- We are also keen to speak with high-performing professionals from trading companies
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Fluent English required
